Contact Association and Creation

If "Contact Creation" is disabled in ion8 Connect, Call Connector will create a “default” Company record with the same name as your organization’s name, and log the call or SMS as a Note in that record.

If a single Matter is found associated with the found Contact, the call will be logged as a Note on that Matter. If multiple Matter records are found, the call will be logged as a Note on the Contact record itself.

How Events Are Logged

Call

Calls are logged as Notes in Lawmatics.
Call logged as a Note on a Lawmatics Contact.

SMS

Like calls, SMS are also logged as Notes in Lawmatics.

Fax

Faxes are logged as “Files” on the found contact record.
The Files tab in a Lawmatics Contact record.
