Time Entry Creation controls whether Call Connector automatically creates a time entry alongside each call log.
This is currently available for Clio.
When a call is logged to Clio, two things can happen:
A Communication record is always created. This is the call log itself.
A TimeEntry is created and linked to that communication. This only happens if Time Entry Creation is on.
The time entry includes the call date, duration, a description like "Call with John Doe (555-1234) | Duration: 5m 30s", and the associated matter and user.
Time entries are also created for meetings logged through the Video Conferencing addon.
SMS and fax logs do not create time entries regardless of this setting.
The time entry's billable status is set by the Default Billable Status option. You can change it on individual entries after they're created in Clio.
