Requirements

The user connecting RingCentral must be a Super Admin.

Connecting RingCentral

Sign into RingCentral, and then go to your developer settings to create a JWT for Call Connector.

Input a label for the JWT, and then create it.

Once your credential has been created, you can view it. Reveal the JWT by clicking on “Click to see”. Copy and paste it into the authorization screen in Connect.

Paste the JWT into this input, and then click “Continue”.

Click on “Continue”. You will see a green check mark and a success screen on successful authentication.

Enabling AI, Transcription, and Recording

The call must be manually recorded by the user in order for us to get an AI summary, transcription, and/or recording. This is done by clicking on the “Record” button in the call screen (bottom left).

Without a recording, we cannot generate an AI summary or transcription.

Note that the call should be at least a few minutes long in order for RingCentral to generate an AI summary or transcription.
