How to Enable Call Connector AI
You can easily turn on AI features in your ion8 Connect Dashboard under the Options tab:

Turn on Call Summarization – Get automatic summaries added directly to your call logs.
Enable Cloud Storage – Store your call transcriptions securely as text files in your connected cloud storage system.
That’s it, once enabled, Call Connector will start capturing and summarizing your calls automatically.
License Requirements
AI-powered features are available to users with a Way Better license or higher.
If a user doesn’t have the required license, their calls won’t generate summaries or transcriptions, even if AI features are turned on.
Call Duration Tips
To ensure high-quality summaries and transcriptions, your call should include enough audio content.
For example, short calls under two minutes may not produce a summary if you’re relying on your VoIP system’s built-in AI (like Dialpad).
With Call Connector’s enhanced AI models, however, summaries are generated even for shorter or more complex calls. This is not a concern when using the enhanced AI model options, as described in the next section.

AI Model options are only available on Call Connector v2.
