What is Call Connector's Cloud Storage Feature?

Call Connector automatically stores your call recordings and transcripts in your connected cloud storage system(s).

How It Works

  • In the ion8 Connect Dashboard, connect your preferred storage provider(s) (such as Google Drive or Dropbox).

  • Once connected, Call Connector will automatically save all recordings and transcripts from your calls into the linked storage system(s).

  • Links to these files are added to the call logs that Call Connector creates in your connected Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Case Management System (CMS) system(s), making them easy to access.

Multiple Storage Providers

You’re not limited to a single provider. Multiple cloud storage systems can be connected at the same time. This allows you to organize and manage recordings across different platforms as needed.

Storage Format

Generally, Call Connector stores files in a consistent format across systems. The files for a given call can generally be found in a folder path in the format:
ion8 Call Connector › 2025 › 09-Sep › 2025-09-04_call_<call_ID> › call_recording_ts<timestamp>.mp3
