Fax Logging determines whether faxes sent and received through your phone system get logged to your connected apps.
When enabled, each fax creates a log entry in your connected app. For apps that support file attachments, the fax document is uploaded along with it. When disabled, faxes are ignored entirely.
A few things to note about fax logging specifically:
Contact requirements vary by app. Some apps like Clio and Freshsales don't require a contact for fax logs, while others do.
Contacts are never auto-created for fax events, even if Contact Creation is on. Fax logging only works with contacts that already exist in your app.
Some apps don't support fax file uploads. In those cases, the log entry is still created, just without the document attached.
Default: on
This setting is independent of Call Logging and SMS Logging. You can toggle each one separately.
